Day 3 Reflections
Today was almost all new material for me. I was very glad to see the training covering open source material. I feel that we probably need to spend time working on how to decide which open source materials are responsibly available (ie. looking at forums to see reviews and recommendations). The afternoon was spent doing a series of useful exercises with previously examined video-making technology but adding in a screenshot tool. I feel that today was the beginning of synthesizing the material we've covered with big ideas about how to convey our knowledge to teachers. Today was pretty much A+

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you approve of the Day 3 training materials :) They are some very useful tools, and you're right about how things are coming together. Over the next couple days you should continue examining all of the tools and thinking about how they will be useful and can be introduced in a classroom setting.
What else are you getting from training? Have you seen yourself change in the way you communicate with the other Interns? What role do you see yourself playing in your teams? How do you think you'll be able to move on after training to continue supporting your fellow Interns?
